So sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort the family  in your hour of sadness. 

My fondest memories of Gerry was art.  Gerry loved art and so do I (and my mother Sue Smith).  Gerry, my mom and I were in class together and it was my first time trying my hand in painting.  She was so encouraging at my efforts.  Her home was beautifully decorated with her artwork.  One day, she had us all over for a birthday swimming party that my girls remember to this day.  That was over 30 years ago.  I also remember watching Gerry and BJ square dance. My parents danced too and I was soon to follow.  So much fun!  Gerry always had a smile on her face.  You will be missed but we can't wait until we see each other again in Glory!  Love you!

my granny was my role model. I’ve always looked up to her in so many ways. Words can’t explain how much it hurts that she’s gone. But in a way it’s a relief because she’s now with my grandaddy dancing with no pain nor worries. She was the one that got me into art. I’d always go over to her house and learn how to make new stuff and laugh about the little things with her. she has always been there for me when i needed her. Whenever I was sick she would come over and take care of me, her and grandaddy were there for my baptism and my surgery. At anytime or anywhere they’d always be there for me. My favorite part about my granny was her outfits. She’d always dress with a vest on most of the time with her initials on it and everything. My last memory of me and granny having a good time together was when she took me to the mall and bought me a purse with perfume from bath and body works. She said it was a little too much but bought it for me anyway because she loves me so. I was so blessed to have someone like her to be there for me any second i needed her. No matter what I am forever thankful to call her my granny🤍i love you always and forever granny, i hope your enjoying heaven in granddaddy’s arms right now. Ralph and I have so many wonderful memories of B J and Gerry.
We square danced together.  Gerry was always "the life of the party."
She and I walked in the park together.  One day an unexpected rain storm came.  We decided to just play in the rain.  It was raining so hard garbage cans  were floating down the gutters.  we just laughed and laughed.  Playing in the rain  was so much fun.  She also taught me to paint.  We had fun in every thing we did. She loved to sing. And I loved listening to her.  

Debbie, my prayers are with you and your family during this time of bereavement. Know that you are loved and cared for and you are not alone.

“Jer” Bear , as I always called  you,  I love you lady, it was never a dull moment when you came to work  , you were ready for anything , I’ll miss you dearly , I could come up with a simple elementary craft and you change it into something extraordinary ( you were full of talent). I sit and think about how upset you were me for  wearing that elf outfit  at the Christmas party after you made all of  us a shirt alike , however it didn’t last long. lol I am so grateful for our time as co- workers  and all the things you’ve done and taught me …..forever a friend - Schel-
