Helen A. Wukovich

Helen A. Wukovich, former resident of Memphis and a retiree of South Central Bell, died March 26, 2014 in Arvada, CO. She was born March 25, 1929 in Walsenburg, CO. At the time of her death, Mrs. Wukovich was a resident of Salida, CO where she was a member of Salida Community Christian Church, the Topaz Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Courtney; her husband, Thomas L. Wukovich, and a son, Robert S. Wukovich. She is survived by her son, Thomas L. (Jamie) Wukovich, Jr. of Bartlett; grandchildren, Amy (Robbie) Blanton of Savannah, TN, Brian (Tonya) Johnson of Cookeville, TN, Robert (Nivia) Wukovich, Jr. of Manassas, VA, Patrick (Lethy) Wukovich of O’Fallon, IL and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Christina Giles of Nathrop, CO and Margaret Snyder of Arvada, CO; five nephews and their families of Arvada, Westminster, and Englewood, CO. A funeral service was held March 29, 2014 in Salida, CO. Local services will be April 4, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. Visitation will be 9-10am with the funeral service at 10am. Private Interment will be in Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
