Pat, I (and on behalf of the entire Elam family) offer my condolences and deepest sympathy to you and the entire Taylor family. Not only did Henry's and my family worship together at our beloved St Luke church growing up, but we also attended grade school together. One of my fondest memories is when Henry and I were crowned the king and queen of 1st grade! (Such memories! Still makes me Smile!)  Those and other memories will live on with me forever.

With that, I(we) celebrate his life and will be praying for the family during this time for their strength and endurance and know that God will comfort and keep you in the days, weeks and months to ahead. Be Blessed.

Henry was my classmate and a close friend in school I enjoyed being around  he always had that smile .I didn't get to see Henry after I graduated but I always heard good things about Henry as he move on Tn .I pray that Patricia be bless and the family and that she be able to get through this difficult time.I realize that we don't know when the lord will say it time for you to come home,but keep the faith knowing you will see Henry again.

Over 20 years ago Henry and I were in service one morning and when we were done he asked me if I had time to go somewhere with him and I said ok. He said he had promised Roger Hunters two daughters he would visit their school on this particular day, so we went there. Upon arrival we checked in a the office and told the secretary that we were there to see Rogers elementary age daughters (two black guys, both over 200 lbs) who are white and the look on this woman’s face was a cold stare, until we got to the classroom and Rogers daughter screamed out Henry’s name and ran up and gave him a big hug. I thought to myself only Henry Taylor could made this work in Memphis, TN. I will always treasure our friendship.

I will miss our loving family member, Henry, because I won’t hear him call us “Cotton Picker” and laugh when he does it. He was one of the most generous individuals I have ever known and all who knew him loved him from the heart as his brother Leroy and I do. I look forward to seeing him in the resurrection (Hosea 13:14) with that beautiful smile. LOVE to you Pat.

Everyone loved Henry!  He had such a big personality and his smile just made you happy.  I will never forget how much time he spent with the kids in the congregation.  I remember my son, Jason Walker used to go lift weights and just hang out with him and other young brothers in the congregation.  He touched so many lives that he probably never realized just how much.  That was just Henry.  We love you dear brother and will miss you until we see you again after the resurrection.  1 Thes. 4:13.  We love you too Pat, and hope these fond memories comfort you until you see him again.

We love Henry so much. I have known him for almost 30 years. He and Pat have been so precious to us. He was always cheerful and always glad to see you no matter where you were.  We would always hug him when we saw him. Not just me and Franny, but my boys were special to him and they were always glad to see him as well. 
As we wait patiently for Jehovah’s New System, it makes me hope that it will come more quickly so I can see my precious loving brother again.

Through many, many years Henry has been so very kind to Bill & I.   When Henry walked in a room with that big smile......somehow, you knew everything would be alright.  We will surely miss our big brother, our dear friend, and long for the time when we will see him again.  We pray for the family to have strength to cope during this difficult time.

Henry “O” as I new him, was one of the most even keel people you will ever meet. He would put you at ease as soon as you shook his hand and he looked you in the eye. My bride and myself had the pleasure to  meet and ride The Pacific Northwest for several weeks on a couple of different occasions with Henry and Pat on our motorcycles. These are trips I will never forget. I am going to miss you my friend, we’ll be together again someday. I am prying for strength for Pat and the family during this time.

Henry was the youngest in the family.  He was my loving brother-in-law for 47 years.  I only have good memories of him with his cheerful personality and kind nature.  He loved people and his dogs.  Henry was adventurous and loved to do things like ride his motorcycle cross country with his wife and friends, snow ski,  travel, and farm.  Henry had so much energy and liked lifting weights; he believed in physical fitness.  I could always expect to hear from my brother-in-law who checked on me throughout my illnesses and bad times.  Henry spent a lot of time with my sons on the farm  when they were growing up teaching them to drive farm equipment and trucks and to change tires or fix things.  He took them home with him to spend weekends, and Pat, his wife, welcomed them.  Henry even got the boys to eat hot dogs, which they would not eat at home.  They were so happy to be with him until it didn't matter what they ate.   There will never be another Henry.  Henry was so wonderful.  I will miss him, but am happy that he has the hope of a resurrection in the promised new world.  Henry loved Jehovah, Jesus, and people.

Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We are praying the family of Henry O. Taylor find peace in the strength of your faith, and in the love and concerns of family and friends. Please be assured…. Henry is safe in the presence of God, and will always stay close to you in your hearts because of the wonderful memories made in past years.
