I was lucky enough to meet Janet & David through mutual friends.  Janet was one of those people that I loved from the first time I met her.  She had this way of drawing you in and she radiated with joy, laughter and happiness. I can say the same for she and David - they were one of the very few couples that immediately gave one the sense they were soulmates. Soulmates is a word that is tossed around much too often these days for couples that don't even last for 5 years.  With them, you could feel the love they had for one another and the happiness it brought them to do all things together.  My husband and I often talked about how we should call them or meet them out of town on one of their many trips.  I'm saddened to say we never followed through.  Even though we didn't see each other very often, I remained in contact with Janet through Facebook and continually prayed for her during her courageous battle with cancer.  If I should ever meet someone as magnetic and beautiful  as Janet in the future, I hope to actually stop whatever inconsequential things I have going on in my life to really get to know that person because people like Janet don't come around too often. Fly high, beautiful lady.  The world is a little dimmer without you. 

Janet was a woman of the heart and faith.I admired her optimism ,zest for life,and courage in all circumstances.Family first she believed and showed in her actions and words.She brought sunshine o those who knew her and loved her. I am thankful to have the opportunity to get to know her as this woman.

My dear friend and I have been best friends for 35 years. Janet and David introduced me and my soul mate years ago . If ever I needed to take about anything she was always there. And the pool partys well what can I say except wow she new how to throw a party. I will miss her so much. But I will always have the wonderful memories.  RIP my freind
