She was a (Wildcat) went to West Side Schools in Memphis Tennessee where to the date of her passing she had stayed friends with the people she met there. She worked at Bozoff Dinette and 18 years at Donruss Leaf and Hershey and she worked for several years at Gibson Guitars. Her last job was at Bass Pro Shops. Janice enjoyed her family, doing for others, going to get togethers. She made people laugh and smile while she was in a room. Eating out with family and friends and going to second hand stores is what she really enjoyed. She leaves her husband James (Mike) Rushing, daughter Jamie E Smith Wilson, and two grandsons Sonny D and Jonathan D (JonJon) Wilson, brother Ronald A Moore, and Sister Dorothy Moore Bruce (Lee).
A gathering of family and friends for Janice will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A graveside service will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
