Joyce Ann Gamble, 85, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on October 31, 2024. She was born to the late Dennis and Anne Bishop in Memphis. Joyce was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her warmth and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Gamble; her daughter, Melissa Souder; and her sister, Denise. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Poole (David); grandchildren, Melissa Mahoney and Jeremy Adams (Christina); great-grandchildren, Devon Adams, Noah and Grayson Adams, Aaron Lackey, Amelia Wingo; and her nephew, Ronnie Givens (Kim).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Joyce’s honor.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joyce's life on November 7, with visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00 PM.
