Larry Sanders

Larry C. Sanders, 69, of Bartlett, TN., formerly of Lancaster, OH, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Mary Sanders, brothers Roy Granville, Denver Elmo, Leo Otto, Herbert Paul, and Kenneth, and sisters, Eva Mazine Musser, Dena Marie Sanders, and Bernice June Aisel. Mr. Sanders is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ellen Thompson Sanders, son, David Michael Sanders, daughter, Amy Charlynn Simmons, grandchildren, Jacob Austin Simmons and Benjamin Isaac Simmons, all of Bartlett, TN, and siblings, Mike Sanders of Cynthiana, KY, Lucille Wallis of Lancaster, OH, Birma Mae Roshon of Denver, CO, and Ida Alverta Shumaker of Cynthiana, KY. Mr. Sanders retired from MTD, Inc. of Valley City, OH as Area Manager. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 18 from 3-5pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be held at 11am at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Rd, with a visitation starting an hour prior.
