LaVerne Houston Arnett

She worked for many years in the business office of Stern Cardiovascular before she retired. LaVerne was an avid supporter of Page Robbins Adult Day Center and enjoyed thrifting as well as spending time with her family.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Alice Houston, her sister, BJ Bain and her nephew, Felix Vega II. Ms. Arnett is survived by her children, Matthew Arnett and Clancey Patterson (Chris), as well as two grandchildren, Meredith and Sophie Patterson, and three siblings: Claudia Sandridge (Donald), Dallas Houston (Denise) and Margie Vega (Felix).

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens 3700 North Germantown Pkwy Bartlett, TN 38133.
