Lee W Miles Jr.

"Big" Lee was born on August 24, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee to Lee Waits Miles, Sr. and Edna "Pauline" Bright Miles. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Edna Valley Schimmel and his brother, Emory B. Miles.

He is survived by his wife, Kitty; two children, Lee (Ida) and Desiree (Justin); five grandchildren, Elliana, Gabriel (Carlos), Logan-Leigh, Josephine "Josie" and Jacob and one brother, Charles B. Miles

He married Kitty on May 7, 1975. He attended Memphis State and went on to be a successful businessman, owning his own business for over 30 years. He continued to work until the day of his passing.

He was an avid hunter, loved traveling and spending time with his family. He also had a love for television, especially westerns and scary movies. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 1 pm until 2 pm with a funeral service in his honor at 2 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens.
