Margaret was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, leaving behind two loving sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Schulze and Shirley VanderWall, who hold dear the memories of their time together. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Charles Wilson Blythe, who passed in 1996 after 45 years of marriage.
She is survived by her two children: daughter, Linda Blythe Wright (Eric), and son, Charles “Skip” Wilson Blythe. She was a beloved grandmother to Jason Wright (Rebecca) and Justin Wright (Megan), and cherished great-grandmother to five: Tyler, Wyatt, Rylee, Micah, and Adelyn.
A longtime member of Speedway Terrace Baptist Church and later Bellevue Baptist Church, Margaret found deep joy in her faith. She also had a vibrant passion for sports, often attending baseball and basketball games. Margaret enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from cooking and sewing to spending precious moments with her family. Above all, she held a special place in her heart for her beloved Boston Terriers—KoKo, Buck, and Hubie—whom she lovingly referred to as her "babies."
Margaret’s life was one marked by kindness, love, and a deep devotion to her family. She will be fondly remembered for the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.
A private family service will be held to honor her memory.
Margaret's legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched with grace, love, and laughter.
In lieu of flowers the family request any donation be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
