Marie E. Souder

She was born to the late Jacob and Elizabeth Retzler on October 14th, 1941 in Batavia, Ohio. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Jacob Souder and her brother, Paul Retzler.

Marie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Vernon Souder; daughters, Pamela LaVelle, Dawn Lindley; son, Michael Souder; grandchildren, Tyler Souder, Lindzey Carroll, Jacob Souder, Hanna Lindley; great-grandchildren, Lorelei and Rhyleigh.

Memorials may be made in Marie’s honor to the Tunica Humane Society or any other rescue group of the donor’s choice.

Family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, August 27th at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 8455 Germantown Rd, Olive Branch, MS. Mass will follow at 11:00am. Interment will take place at 2:00pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
