

Marilee Joy Goelz, 29, Cordova formerly of New Richmond, Wisconsin was born June 23, 1985 to John H. Jr. and Debbie Goelz in Conneaut, Ohio was called home to be with The Lord on December 11, 2014 in Memphis . Marilee was a graduate of Hudson High School in 2006, was a participant at Shepherd’s Haven Day Program in Cordova, TN, attended Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church-Germantown, participated in pageants, Special Olympics playing basketball and running track winning a gold medal. She was an avid collector of Pokemon Cards and Beanie Babies. Marilee was a very unique and special person who loved to laugh. Everyone she came into contact with fell in love with her. She loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Marilee was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Carol Goelz; maternal grandmother Marjorie Monda; and is survived by her loving parents, John H. Jr. & Debbie Goelz of Cordova; brother and his fiancée, John H. Goelz, III. (Laura Brooten) of Grinell, Iowa; maternal grandfather, Manuel Philip of Conneaut, Ohio; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will also be missed by her friends at Paradigm Services, Inc in New Richmond, Wisconsin. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church, 1665 South Germantown Road, Germantown, TN.
