Mary Jo Hargrove

Mary Jo Hargrove, 81, born February 8, 1944 peacefully passed away on June 4, 2025 into the presence of her Lord and Savior. Mary Jo was a beloved Wife, Mother, Mimi, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many. She devoted her life to her family as a loving and faithful homemaker. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and kindness. She found joy in spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and enjoying nature in her backyard garden.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dwight Hargrove; sons Jason Hargrove (Robin), Matt Hargrove (Amanda); Grandsons (Jacob, Stephen, Ethan, Caleb); Brother (Donald Foster), Sister (Barbara Kyker), and Sister-in-law (Betty Hargrove). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and family members whom she loved and were so important in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents (Jake & Mary Louise Foster), her son (Scott), her sister (Maxine), her grandson (Robby), and many friends and family members who she truly loved. Mary Jo touched the lives of many and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday June 11th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.

Services will follow at 2:00 pm.
