Mary Frances Joyner, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on February 23, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Athel and Mary Lavelle Weatherington, Frances lived a life defined by her generous spirit and boundless love for others.
Frances had a gift for making everyone feel like family. She never met a stranger and was always the first to offer a helping hand. She had a passion for crafting and cooking, but her happiest moments came from spending time with her loved ones. More than anything, she treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her daughter and grandson, who were her greatest joys.
She is reunited in heaven with her parents and her cherished husband, Bill Joyner.
Frances' legacy of kindness will be carried on by her loving daughter, Amy Joyner, and her adoring grandson, Phoenix, both of Collierville, Tennessee.
A celebration of her life will be held on September 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. at The Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee. Flowers are welcome at the funeral home
