Mary M. Martin, 90, of Memphis, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Martin, retired Navy, and daughter, Patricia Martin. Mrs. Martin is survived by, her sons, Tommy Martin, Donald Martin and his wife Cheryl, and Jonathan Martin and his wife Donna, grandchildren, Shannon Martin, Ashlee Martin, Allen Martin, Emily Martin, and Jonathan Martin, and two great-grandchildren, Elijah McFerren and Patricia Martin. Mrs. Martin was a faithful member at East Hill Baptist Church. She retired after 20+ years of work from Memphis City Schools. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, October 10 from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10am, also at the funeral home.
