

A native of Birmingham, AL, he was born on September 19, 1968 to George Benton Frazier and Carol Ann Lunsford. He was a graduate of Pinson Valley High School in Pinson AL.
Mike proudly served our great county in the Air Force, obtaining the rank of Sergeant, and served from 1987-1991. Mike served during Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Desert Calm. He provided valuable communications support during his tenure in the Air Force. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to the states.
Mike quickly entered college at UAB in Birmingham, AL, pursuing his musical interests. He moved to Dallas, TX, a few years later, which brought him into contact with the local Drum and Bugle Core. Mike quickly joined and enjoyed performing, writing music and directing musical scores for production.
A computer programmer by profession, music was his life and passion. Mike continued to develop his musical talents and enjoyed performing, arranging and composing music for several local artists. His encouragement of others, helping them develop their talents and his never ending support for those who shared his passion and interests are what he is best remembered for.
Mike is survived by both parents, and his sister, Tracey Steward.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July 9, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 4199 Kirby Whitten Rd, in Bartlett, TN where Mike attended, and served as the Ward Chorister, and Musical Director for the Ward Choir.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael Hickman High School Music Scholarship Foundation. This organization supports the education and development of students in the Musical Arts with special Scholarships being granted every year to the students of the Pinson Valley High School Marching Chiefs, allowing them to continue their musical training and arts development in the college of their choice.
