In the early morning hours of Friday, October 28, 2016, the Father whispered Nathaniel Draper, Jr. and he transitioned to his heavenly home in the presence of the Lord. We know he had a song and a smile. On Tuesday, December 5, 1961, Mrs. Marguerite Davis Draper and Mr. Nathaniel Draper, Sr. welcomed Nathaniel Jr., their sixth child, into their lives with great joy. Nathaniel accepted Christ into his life at the age of 16 and was baptized by Rev. E.V. McGhee, Pastor of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church. As a caring and compassionate Christian, he assisted others whenever needed and was bold in sharing the word of God. At the time of his transition to his Heavenly Home, he had been a long time member of Breath of Life Christian Center. Presently, he was employed by Memphis Bonding Company and Mt. Moriah Auto Sales. He was a longtime employee of Keras Car Central. His most loving and precious memories are shared with his wife, Toya Draper. He also leaves to cherish his memory, five sons, Nathaniel Sean Draper (Mouang Hang) of Burlington, WA, Brandon Draper (Amanda) of San Diego, CA, Nicholas Draper (Marcia) of Memphis, TN, Marcus Wilson and Michael Wilson of Olive Branch, MS; four granddaughters, Teanna Jordan, Alexia Draper, Jordan Draper and Olivia Draper; one grandson, Brandon Draper, Jr.; two sisters, Faye Draper Tolbert of Memphis, TN and Shirley Draper Macon (Joseph) of Lakeland, FL; three brothers, Ronnie Davis of Lakeland, FL, Steven Draper (Trina) of Memphis, TN, Larry Draper of Memphis, TN; sister in law, Lisa Smith Draper of Eads, TN; two brothers-in-law, Tony Kimble (Willa) of Jacksonville, FL and Wade Kimble II (Dawn) of Memphis, TN; mother and father-in-law, Olivia and Wade Kimble Olive Branch, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
