Penny Akers Maness, 46, of Munford, passed away in her sleep at her home on Saturday, December 11, 2010. She was a member of Park Village Christian Church. Mrs. Maness, the wife of Joey Maness, also leaves her daughters, Brandy Smith, Nicole Karnes and Summer Maness; son, Joseph Maness; sister, Donna Sowell, brother, Raymond Akers, Jr. and her grandsons, Jackson, Weston, Ethan and Elijah, all of Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday evening, December 14 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 15 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
