Reba Phipps, of Memphis, TN, passed away on November 25, 2018. She was a long time member of Thrifthaven Baptist Church. Reba worked at an ammunition’s plant in Cordova, during the WWII and later at Firestone where she met her late husband John E Phipps. Her biggest joy in life was taking care of her grandson Matthew. Reba was preceded in death by her husband John E Phipps, two brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter Jill Archibald and her husband Roy, her grandson, Matthew Archibald and his wife Madeline, and one great grandson, Daniel Archibald.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30, on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown PKY, Bartlett, TN 38133, with a graveside service to follow at 2pm, at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd., Memphis, TN 38115.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
