Sharon and family,
We've been neighbors for over 15 years and Denise and I have very fond memories of the Easter Egg Hunts at your home when our kids were much smaller. I think I speak for many of the neighbors saying those were "memories made" due to your and Mr. Cox's kindness..our kids won't ever forget Mr. Cox in the Easter Bunny outfit...as well as when he dressed as Santa Claus for Christmas.  Mr. Cox was a terrific person and we'll all miss him greatly. There's no doubt God welcomed him with open arms.  Keep the faith and we'll all keep the many positive memories of Mr. Cox. Dick was first a man who loved the Lord his Sharon and family. In the 40 plus years I knew Dick I never heard him complain or say a negative thing about another person. That is what made him such an uncomman man. I believe he heard these words on his arrival in Heaven. Well done my good and faithful servant.

I love my Papa with all my heart. I wish I could have been around him more often, as he was an incredible example of how to be a man - dutiful and soft at heart.

I wish I could have shared cockpit duties with the Captain.  We didn't meet until way too late.for that.  What a friend he was.  Now his landing instructions are coming from the the Savior Himself. God bless Sharon, family and friends.

Captain - So glad that I was able to know such a fine caring man that loved our classmate Sharon with all of his heart!  What a great pair that complimented each other and The Captain and his lovely wife, Sharon, were truly sole mates and are both close to their Lord.

Its been close to thirty years since I copiloted for Captain Cox, I remember two distinct legs that were exceptionally enjoyable. I can  still see  his fingers flipping the extended range tank switches going to Jamaica. Lissa and I extend our deepest sympathy

Mr Cox was more than a neighbor and friend he was an example to all of a true gentleman. The way he loved others, especially Mrs Cox, was inspirational. He was so funny, humble and a pleasure to be around. Our lives have forever been changed because of our friendship with him. Thank you Mr and Mrs Cox for allowing us the honor to call you friends and your example of endless love. We love you both and look forward to being your eternal neighbors in heaven.

It was always a pleasure to fly with Dick he was a true gentleman and excellent pilot.  Had many deep conversations with him.
Dick I'm  sure your last flight WEST was  a great one and no more suffering as you will be in the company of the LORD forever.

I had the good fortune to fly, co-pilot for Richard, on both the F27 and DC9..He was one of the "Good Guys", and one of the best airplane drivers, I ever ran across..
