Robert Daniel Harmeier, 80, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away in Cordova, TN on Monday, September 13, 2010. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Harmeier is survived by his daughters, Karla Harmeier-Rucker (Arlis) of Tupelo, MS, Maryann Coker of Stuart, FL, Linda Harmeier of Marietta, GA and Mary Robin Harmeier of West Palm Beach, FL; son, Robert Daniel Harmeier, Jr. (Suzanne) of Newberry, FL; 4 grandchildren, Erin, Megan, Alyssa and Sarah; 2 great grandchildren Ethan and Owen; 4 sisters, Mary Mackey, Grace Spencer, Margaret McCafferty and Ann Trier and 1 brother, Dick Harmeier. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Albert and Walter Harmeier. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m., Thursday morning, September 16 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Cordova, TN. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.
