Robert Paul Stewart, 54, of Memphis passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was a former employee with the Shelby County Road Department and retired from the City of Memphis as a mechanic. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Stewart; and is survived by his sons, Andrew Stewart (Lauren), Chris Stewart, Johnathan Stewart; daughter, Christina Stewart; two granddaughters, Jaymee Stewart and Blakeley Stewart; mother, Ruth Walden; step-mother, Sara Patterson Stewart; four brothers; three nieces; one nephew; numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 with a memorial service to follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett TN 38133. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center.
