Ruby Bell Reynolds

Ruby Reynolds, 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Coldwater, MS, on January 4, 2025. She was born on May 14, 1944, in Covington, TN, to Alvin and Josie Joy. A woman of great love and warmth, Ruby was known for her love of gardening and the deep devotion she had for her family. She was the heart and soul of the family, always the glue that held everyone together.

Ruby cherished her time spent with loved ones, particularly during the holidays when family gathered to celebrate. She also enjoyed traveling in her younger years, and her adventurous spirit left lasting memories.

Ruby was married to her beloved husband, Raymond Lyle Reynolds, for 64 wonderful years. She was predeceased by her parents, Alvin and Josie Joy, her sisters Jeanette Hamlin and Molly Hudson, and her brother Donald Joy and one son, Raymond Lyle Reynolds III.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Raymond, two brothers; Desmond Joy and John Joy, their five daughters: Sherry Oden, Sheila Massey (Thomas), Mary West, Nancy Allen, and Sandy McClain. Ruby also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Teresa Massey, Lisa Mahs, Erica Swindoll, Dale West, Jared West, James Allen, and Blake Allen, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren: Joshua, Lily, Jessie Dale, Abigail, Lyanna, Emma, Mason, Brailyn, Gwendolyn, Anastasia, Zack, and Thomas.

Ruby's presence will be forever missed, but her love and the memories she created with her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
