Denise, Russ & Melanie.........I just found out about Russell's passing last year because I was searching for you via Google. Words can't describe the pain over the loss of your child. I'm sorry for your loss! I only knew Russell as a little boy but I know he was a joy to have on this earth. May you find peace.

I am so saddened to hear the news.  The world lost a wonderful man with an infectious personality, everyone who crossed paths with Russell loved him.  He was a fantastic father, son and friend to many.  He will never be forgotten.  May he rest in peace.

You'll never be forgotten bro. I'll always remember the great times we had and when you socked me in the jaw during our boxing match!! Have to admit you got the best of me. I guess we never did get that rematch.... maybe one day in heaven we'll do it again! Thanks for always being the most welcoming in your crew. We've always been great friends and thanks for always messaging me on fb. I know my life has gotten hectic these past few years and that we didn't kick it as planned. It truly sucks being an adult. Sometimes in life we lose focus on all the stuff that truly matters and we get side tracked with employment etc. Before you died this year, both my Grandpa's died too. Maybe you can say hi to them for me and that I miss them with all my heart.

Remember the time we met in 4th grade, when we started shoving each other in line and coach got all mad at us?? Remember I told the coach I would shoot him with a bb gun and you started laughing!!!! Since then we got super cool and if it wasn't for that PE class I wouldn't have got to know you.

Over the years we did so much! I remember when you lost all that weight and I was so envious of that. Till this day I still haven't done it, but I'm going to dedicate my gym life to you and my Grandpa. He always wanted me to be healthy.

I guess for now it's good-bye..... I guess for now we'll have to live off of the great memories you left behind. Can't believe I've known you almost 20 years. Wish it could have been longer, but I guess God is calling your name and he has even greater plans for you. Well, take care bro and thanks for never changing for anyone. Even after you got sick you still had the same friendly fun mentality. May the happiness in life come back to your family and that they will heal in time. I'll keep them in my prayers for sure bro.
