Scott David Brothers was born on September 27, 1968 and passed away on April 14, 2013. He served in the US Army, 82nd Airborne from October 1987 until September 1990. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis in December 2010. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Brothers Jr. He leaves behind his mother, Billie Brothers of Memphis, TN., sister Charlotte Gregersen (Rob) of Lincoln, NE., brother Jeff Brothers (Cheryl) of Lebanon, TN., niece Emma Gregersen and nephew Fowler Gregersen both of Lincoln, NE., a wife Kim Brothers and a step-daughter, Taylor Townsend. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd and a funeral on Friday at 10am also at the funeral home.
