Her other commitments in life were singing in choirs, solos, teaching Sunday School classes, and ministering to the elderly women in her church. She had a heart for missions and visited missionaries as a worldwide traveler. Indeed a traveler she was, visiting all fifty states, six continents including seventy-three countries. Her final trip was to heaven where she is now in the presence of her Lord and the saints of the ages.
A blessing in life she was too many people. Her generosity to those in need blessed countless people. Above all that can be said about Thelma, she loved and served her Lord continually in her last years, especially days, consistently reading God’s Word, listening to sermons, and praying until the Lord called her home.
