Thomas E. Kirby, 71, of Memphis, passed away on February 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Murley and Shirley Hester. Mr. Kirby is survived by his children, Lisa Burks, Glynn Kirby and Thomas E. Kirby Jr., 5 grandchildren, and a brother, Bobby Kirby. Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7 at 6-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be on Friday at 10am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ripley Memorial Gardens, Ripley, TN.
