Tommie Jo Lawrence

Tommie Jo Lawrence, 75, of Memphis, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 29, 2013. Tommie was born in Leslie, AR and was the daughter of the late Charles and Beulah George Loeffel and the late Thomas Hollabaugh. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry Edward Lawrence, her son Larry Charles Lawrence of Memphis, and her daughter Lori Catherine Williams (David) of Collierville, TN. She also leaves one granddaughter, Makayla Maria Williams of Memphis, a sister, Betty Daniels (Malcolm) of Memphis and her sister-in-law, Sandra Thayer. Tommie was a member of Frayser Baptist Church, a 1955 graduate of Frayser High School, and was a retired vice-president of J.P. Werner Sheet Metal Company of Memphis. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, August 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home at 3700 N. Germantown Road. Funeral services will be on Saturday August 3rd at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home followed by burial at Memphis Memory Gardens and then a reception at Memphis Funeral Home. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, all memorials be made to Frayser Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
