Thinking about you today on Pearl Harbor Day, peepaw...sure do miss telling you how proud of you we are! Rest in peace in your forever home!

We miss you so much papaw Lee, but we know you are where you have always wanted to be. We still feel your presence and know you are watching over us, especially to make sure we are takin care of baby Jaxon.(papaw would tell us every visit to take care of his baby boy) We are at peace with your passing, because we were able to tell you that we love you one more time, and say our goodbyes.We will never forget your beautiful smile and the kisses you loved to give. We see you smiling everytime we look at Jaxon, because we know how much he lighted up your life. I will never forget the joy I felt when I held your hand in the hospital and you woke up from a deep sleep to smile at us and shake hands. You had a very nice visitation and you looked very handsome.I took Jaxon up to see you and he looked at you and smiled. He knew exactly who you were and that meant so much to us. Jordan misses you alot also, and wishes he could have learned more about Pearl Harbor from you. He still thinks you as a hero and tells his friends about you. You may be gone from this Earth, but you will definetly live on in our hearts. You lived a very long life,and touched so many lives. So now it's time to rest in peace Papaw until we meet again. We love you!

I miss my Granddad Vernon Lee and I am sorry I could not pay my respects at his funeral. My mother Sheena loved him very much and my prayers go to her and the rest of our family during these troubled times. In life he was a wise, kind and courageous man who was truly close to God. You will be greatly missed by everyone you left behind.

I deeply mourn the loss of my Grandad - my prayers are with the rest of the family at this very sad time.  Papa served his country during WWII and a Pearl Harbor survivor - he will be greatly missed by all who knew.

Granddaddy Lee You were a very wonderful man . I know Jordan was very proud of you and I also know Jaxon would have been too. We know you are looking down on them and will be proud of the young men they will become.We will miss hearing your stories . We are so sorry to hear the passing of your husband, father, and grandpa. I have not seen you in years and to remember me, I am the niece of Polly. I find this is one of the hardest things a family must face, but the Lord walks with us, holds our hand, and catches us when we fall. Rejoice with him in our highs and lows, cries and laughs, and carry him within your heart.

Dear Mrs. Lee and family,  I am so sorry.  When I think of BHBC, the Lee family is a family I remember.
