Vernon Otto Jones, 86, of Cordova, TN passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was retired from Wonder Bread after 35 years of service and was a member of Life Church. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Armour and Juanita Jones; brother, Harold Jones; and is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara Galloway Jones; siblings, Jimmy Jones, Arelia Merritt (Ronald), Bernice Robertson (Don), Janice Lumpkin, Harriett Jorgenson (Ron) and Garriett Jones (Pat); along with a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2017 and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens
