Virginia Carol Tatum was born March 8, 1945, in Memphis, TN. She went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2026. She was 80 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Larry E. Tatum; her parents, Maud and Woodrow Ingram; two sisters, Lois and Alice; and one brother, Charles. She is survived by one sister, Shirley, and one brother, Woody.
She has four children: Debbie (Walter) Boucher, Cindy (Donnie) Rhinehardt, Larry Jr. (Deanna) Tatum, and Sonya (Jay) Jenkins; ten grandchildren; and six great‑grandchildren, with two more on the way. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.
A visitation for Carol will be Thursday, January 22, from 1–2 p.m., with the service to follow at 2 p.m.at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens
