

He was born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1956 to Jacqueline and Walter Detamore. Wade attended Cartersville High School before studying Mathematics & Philosophy at Vanderbilt University, and receiving his Masters in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech University. Wade went on to work at Kimberly Clarke Inc., International Paper and Methodist Le Bonheur HealthCare.
He was a member of Woodland Presbyterian where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Wade was a devoted father and loved his family. His hobbies included researching family ancestry, trivia nights with friends and Vanderbilt Football. He lit up every room he stepped in with his gregarious nature and boisterous laugh.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Jaqueline Detamore, his son Trippe Graham Detamore, and is survived by his 3 sons: Dallen (Jennifer), John and Grant.
