Walne Smith Speck, 101, of Cordova, TN, died December 12, 2012 at Applingwood Healthcare Facility. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 15 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Speck was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and Bartlett O.K., Houck Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert D. Speck and sisters: Nina Smith Murray and Janie Smith Gay-Crane. She is survived by her son: Howard D. Speck of Atlanta, GA; grandson: Scott Howard Speck of Roswell, GA; granddaughter: Ashley Michelle Speck of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister: Mary Louise Ludlow of Laporte, IN.
