Walter "Sonny" Anderson Archer, III

He was born to the late Walter Archer, II and Mayola Wimpy on February 11th, 1934 in Helena, Arkansas. Sonny served in the United States Air Force for 4 years.

Sonny is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty Archer; his son, Doug Archer (Terry); his daughter, Debbie McCaskill (Tim); grandchildren, Jason McCaskill (Kelli), Justin McCaskill (Shannon), Carly Archer, Kyle Archer (Jordan), Andrew Archer; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Madison, Ella, Thad, Lily, Troy McCaskill; Noah Archer; sisters, Willodeen Stone (Mike), Kathleen Godwin; and his brother Gene Archer (Betty).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to LUNGevity in Sonny’s honor.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Monday, March 14th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm.
