William David Gaither, 79, of Germantown, passed away on December 19, 2010. He was retired from Philips Petroleum and was a mason. Mr. Gaither, the widower of Bobby Jo Gaither, leaves three daughters, Sandra Frank of Arlington, TX, Mary Cavens and Lynne Schuknecht, both of Memphis; two sons, David Gaither of Canton, MO and Brian Gaither of Creve Coeur, MO; two sisters, his twin, Mary Alice Hughes of Lutherville, MD and Ruth Cain of Winston-Salem, NC; a brother, Wilbur Gaither of Harmony, NC; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Henry gaither. Funeral services and interment will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 22 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
