The memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 North Germantown Rd Memphis, TN 38133.
Bill was born in Santa Ana, CA on January 24,1947. He graduated
from Brookline High School in Massachusetts and continued on to receive a Juris Doctorate Degree from New England School of Law.
Bill was married to Debi Henrikson on August 13, 1976 in Vermont. They were married 41 years.
Bill worked as a Law Enforcement Officer in Vermont and Chief of Police in Golden Beach, Florida. He moved his family to Memphis, TN in 1979 where he worked as Vice President of Security for Federal Express Worldwide for 27 years until he retired in 2005. He enjoyed living life to the fullest, being surrounded by his family, and spending time on his boats. His happiest moments were in Orange Beach laughing with family and enjoying his grandchildren. Bill was also actively involved in Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and the National Greyhound Association.
Bill is survived by his wife Debi Henrikson of Bartlett; his children Billy Henrikson (Sherryn) of Arlington, David Henrikson (Jennifer) of Arlington, and Kimberly Dudley (Clark) of Hattiesburg; a brother Richard Vallon (Sandra) of Bartlett; 7 grandchildren: William, Alissa, Grant, Wesley, Zachary, Dylan, and Emery; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Vallon, his sister Paula Vallon, and his brother Robert Vallon.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Jude, Bartlett Animal Shelter, and Midsouth Greyhound Adoption.
