Zula Mae Crane Young, 85, of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Mrs. Young was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church and, most recently, Second Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Mississippi College for Women and was a retired third grade teacher for Southaven Elementary School. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Young, as well as two sisters, Cannie Saunders and Frances Allen. She is survived by her three children, Benny Young (Patsy), Cindy Kraft, and Jeanne Chisholm (Lyman), her sister, Jean Smith, two grandchildren, Matt Hudson (Erica), and Amanda Chisholm, and one great-grandson, Mason Hudson. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 12pm until the service begins at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. Interment will follow onsite in Memorial Gardens.
