

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Saage; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Laughlin, Sr.; her sister, Marjorie Laughlin Jordan; and her brother E. K. Laughlin, Jr. and her brother, Henry Laughlin..
Mary Martha graduated from Bartlett High School in 1936 and attended Tarlton College in Stephenville. She was employed in various businesses as a bookkeeper and retired at age 70. She then began a new career as an antiques dealer until age 90. She became the "queen" of Clark Street. Her roots in central Texas were very deep--the Bartlett cemetery is filled with many of her pioneer relatives--Laughlins, Mitchussons, Schultzs, Roundtrees as well as many members of her late husband's family.
She is survived by her niece, Kay Jordan Wilbanks, and nephews Harry Jordan, Ted Jordan, and David Laughlin and their spouses. She is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews and 12 great,great nieces and nephews. Mary Martha had many special friends who also survive and you all know who you are.
Funeral services will be held at 1st Bartlett United Methodist Church on February 28, 2015 beginning at 10:30AM.
Graveside service and receiving of friends and family will follow in the church basement.
