Dorothy Lillian Evans

She was born on January 15, 1923 in Keystone, Iowa to John and Mame (Dickerson) Fultz. She married Robert S. Evans on September 12, 1940 in Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1983 in Peoria, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy E. Kelly and one son, Roland J. Evans; one granddaughter and three sisters.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Terry (Sherry) Evans of Chillicothe, Illinois and Brian (Donna) Evans of Pasco, Washington; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She worked over 30 years at Bergner’s as a seamstress, retiring in 2000. She loved gardening and canning and was an avid bowler in local leagues and was an accomplished seamstress, receiving many ribbons in local fairs from her work.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
