Ida M. Smith

Ida M. Smith, 85, of Bartonville,Illinois, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 4:45 AM at the Heartland Healthcare in Peoria. She was born September 2, 1925 in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Hinthorn) Bannan. She married Benjamin H. Smith on September 16, 1944 in Bloomington, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1985 in Bartonville, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by three sons, Robert Smith of Bartonville, Illinois, Ben Smith of Creve Coeur, Illinois, William (Becky) Smith of Winchester, Tennessee, and one daughter, Betty (Gary) Schuster of Pekin, Illinois. She has 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren surviving. She is survived by one brother Edward (Barbara) Bannan of Kewanee, Illinois, and one Sister, Georgia (Gary) Tippett of Peoria.

Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Stephen Barch will officiate. Visitation will be from 5PM until 7 PM on Friday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
