James Ellis "Jim" Duncan, 74, of Bartonville, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 21, 1947, a son of Daniel B. and Billie (Estes) Duncan. Jim married Lorraine E. Bratz on April 5, 1975 in Bartonville. She survives.
Jim is also survived by his two sons, Jeremy James Duncan of Peoria and Joshua James Duncan of Green Valley; two sisters, Kay Contoni of Bartonville and Crystal (Chester) Jones of Peoria; three brothers, William (Diana) Duncan of Glasford, and Roy Dean (Julie) Auvil of Hanna City, and Rick (Becky) Auvil; and step-father, Roy Auvil of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother, Billie Auvil; and sister, Ann Massey.
Jim was a United States Navy veteran.
Jim worked as a machinist for Caterpillar, Inc. for 35 years, retiring in 2005.
Jim loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and being outdoors.
As per Jim's wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has been entrusted to the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
