He was born Aug. 8, 1940 in Peoria to James K. and Hazel (Talkington) O’Conner. He married Julie Tukaki on Dec. 1, 1988 in Peoria. She survives along with one daughter, Alex O’Conner of Peoria, two sisters and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jim first owned and operated Club 7 in Pekin and currently Club Phoenix II in Bartonville.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. following the visitation at St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
