Lester "Les" W. Theinert Sr.

He was born on May 6, 1947 in Peoria, son of Vernon and Leila (Price) Theinert.

He married Sharon Goostree on July 14, 1984 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2009 in Peoria.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Vernon and Keith Theinert.

Surviving are sons; Bill Theinert of Hanna City and Tom Theinert of West Peoria; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Nick; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edwin Theinert of South Carolina, Randy Theinert of Washington State, Cheryl (John) Schell of Hanna City, Laurel Theinert-Bott of Farmington, Deb (Wolford)Scott of Hanna City and Paul (Tina) Theinert of Washington State; and several nieces and nephews.

Les owned and operated Theinert Builders for many years. He enjoyed riding Harley’s, collecting corvettes, flea markets and garage sales. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Funeral Services will be held 11am on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel, Pastors Garry Geer and Luke Wolford will officiate. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
