She was born Dec. 16, 1934 in Klemme, IA to William Lee and Alvina (Ausborn) Hawkins. Surviving are five children, Vickie Walker, Ronald, Jeff, Sherrie Williams, Mike; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille Neer, and Bonnie Downes. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 13 siblings.
Lucy worked at Bel-Wood Nursing Home for 13 years before retiring, and loved to play bingo.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel in Bartonville. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m. on Monday at the Chapel. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
