

Marilyne Parlier, age 75, of Bartonville, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 3:35 a.m., surrounded by her husband and children, at UnityPoint Methodist in Peoria. She was born January 27, 1941 in Peoria to Anthony and Florence (Gudat) Trunk. She married George Parlier on June 3, 1961 in Peoria. He survives along with five children: Troy (Denise) Parlier of Oswego, IL, Wendy (David) Kisler of Washington, Joy (Bruce) Ledbetter of Hanna City, Keri (Steve) Boswell of Pekin, Kyle (Trisha) Parlier of Franklin, TN; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one brother, Anthony (Connie) Trunk of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dale Trunk.
Marilyne was a graduate of Manual High School, class of 1959. Marilyne was the Office Manager for Doctors Morris Adland and Brian Cohen for 27 years, retiring in 2006. She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Marilyne’s faith and family were her life. She was very committed to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Marilyne’s passions included attending her children’s and grandchildren’s events and activities. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, and vacationing in Florida.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria. Rev. Karl Eckhoff will officiate. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
