She was born November 23, 1934 in Peoria to Frank and Neva (Carson) Newsam. She married David Stewart, Sr. on February 14, 1959 in Peoria. He passed away February 12, 2022 in Peoria. She is also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Roger) Proctor, one son, David (Cyndi) Stewart, Jr., three grandchildren: Jessica (Randy) Eimerman, Jacob (Dr. Jamie) Stewart, Lane (Dr. Allison) Stewart, and three great-grandchildren: Delaney Stewart, Ethan Stewart, and Wesleigh Eimerman.
Mona was a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for several businesses in the Peoria area retiring in 1983.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Per Mona’s wishes, there will be no services. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
