Rudy J. Finkral

Peoria – Rudy J. Finkral, 52, of Peoria, IL passed away at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria on Friday January 6, 2012 with his family by his side. Rudy was born August 24, 1959 in Peoria to Warren and Erma (Nakken) Finkral. He married Margie Hoerr on August 18, 1979 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving is his mother Erma Finkral of Peoria, IL, his wife Margie of Peoria, son Andy (Marie Cohenour) Finkral of Peoria, IL, daughter Katie (Chris) Finkral-Hess of Peoria, two grandchildren; Stormie Finkral and Wiley Holt, brother Frank (Helen) Finkral of Glasford, IL, and sister Lori Gorman of West Peoria, IL.

Rudy worked for Waste Management, Parsons, and for the last 13 years Keystone Steel and Wire as a machine operator.

Rudy loved family and friends, so much that he often put them first before himself. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, Chicago Cubs fan, mushroom hunter, and gardener. When Rudy wasn’t working he spent most of his time with his family, grandchildren, and Squeak the guinea pig. Rudy and his family attended St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bartonville.
