Virgil W. "Virg" Ulrich

He was born September 15, 1952 in Peoria to Walter W. and Ilene (Terry) Ulrich. He married Diane Walraven on March 5, 1977 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are his two daughters: Tammy and Mindy Ulrich; two brothers: Greg (Audra) Ulrich of Bartonville and Glen Ulrich of Peoria; one sister: Terry (Tom) Daszek of Bartlett, IL; and six grandchildren: Rachel, Shayne, Brennan, Keegan, Hayley, and Ricky II.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Virgil retired from the Galvanizing department at Keystone Steel & Wire on February 1, 2004, after 30 years of service.

He enjoyed boating and fishing on the river. He was also a car collector and loved to build engines. Most of all, Virgil loved spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. Cremation will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
