Zona M. Brown

She was born on April 7, 1927 in Alva, OK to John P. and Edith M. (Beeton) Mosshart. She married Buster B. Brown on December 3, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1996. Her parents, one brother, Jim L. Mosshart and one great-grandchild also preceded her in death.

Surviving are six children, Geraldine L. (Paul) Isbell of Mapleton; Tommy R. (Charla) Brown of Smithfield; Jennifer L (Ray) Schneider of West Peoria; Betty J (Nathan) Isbell of Hanna City; Bruce W. (Amanda) Brown of East Peoria and John J. (Kimberly) Brown of Lovland Park, OH. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Zona was a loving mother, grandmother and her children were her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crafting and reading. She worked for 10 years at F.W. Means, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Creve Coeur Chapter and was of the Christian Faith.

A funeral will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Randy Hochstetler will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Smithville Cemetery in Smithville.
