He retired from Henry County public schools with 25 years of service.
He was a member of People's Church Of The Living God in Bassett.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Ann Wheeler Brown of the home, two sons, William Tony Brown and Sammy Lee Brown, one daughter, Cindy Ann Brown, one granddaughter, Lesley Renee Brown. his twin sister, Doris Ann Jefferson.One brother Walter Harold Brown.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m at Collins Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 pm at Collins Chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
